Certified Tutor

In addition to four years of writing center experience, I had the opportunity to teach several sections of freshman composition and poetry writing at Oregon State University. I've studied critical and creative writing intensively during my college career, and I love sharing my passion and knowledge in my tutoring sessions. I've helped students with multiple types of assignments, including literary and rhetorical analysis, personal essays, lab reports, speeches, resumes and cover letters, outlines, and bibliographies.

In my tutoring sessions, I am patient, personable, and enthusiastic. I provide a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. My collaborative approach helps students develop critical thinking skills and become more confident and proficient writers.
