What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe in interacting about the subject with my students, rather than teaching in the form of lectures.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In my first session, I would typically like to assess the basic understanding of the student about the subject, and then decide what teaching methodology to adopt with him/her.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By encouraging him to keep aside some time for self study regularly.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I keep my students motivated by encouraging them when they perform well.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, I would change my teaching method as per the student's needs.
