As a dedicated and passionate tutor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the tutoring environment. I recently achieved a significant milestone by obtaining my Registered Nurse (RN) certification, a testament to my commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence. I am a proud graduate of CUNY Lehman College, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology, Biology, and Chemistry.

My journey into education began at Lehman College, where I was honored to be hired as an Adjunct, tasked with instructing students in the foundational courses of chemistry. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the subject matter but also ignited my passion for teaching and helping others succeed academically.

Biochemistry and Chemistry are my forte, and I thoroughly enjoy guiding students through these challenging subjects. In addition to my proficiency in these areas, I also offer tutoring in various math topics. I believe that a strong foundation in these subjects is crucial for success in the broader scientific and healthcare fields.

Drawing on my experience, I have developed a personalized and effective tutoring approach. I understand that each student learns differently, and I tailor my methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. In my sessions, I make the complex concepts visible and tangible, emphasizing hands-on learning to enhance comprehension.

I put emphasis on building connections between what students are learning, where they are learning, and how they are learning. I firmly believe that no two students learn in exactly the same way, and as such, information should be presented in a manner that resonates with each individual. Through teamwork and a personalized approach, I aim to empower students to develop their unique connections between concepts, ensuring a thorough understanding of the material.
