Hello! My name is Cody Friedrich and I am currently a middle school science and math teacher for Thoreau Demonstration Academy. I actually originally got my bachelors degree in Psychology but along the way I discovered I have a huge passion for helping students learn and that passion has taken me all the way from North Tulsa where I worked as a teacher for the Tulsa Dream Center, to tutoring children in Montego Bay, Jamaica!
I firmly believe that every young person has the potential to do incredible things and I want to do my best to help every student I work with to believe that for themselves. I have the skill and capacity to support students in core subjects through high school. Having worked with many students over the years, I eagerly embrace challenges and love the opportunity to help students who are not traditional learners or who struggle in the classroom.
