I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in Dec 2020 with a bachelor of science in Aerospace Engineering . I will start my graduate school at Purdue University in July 2021 with a focus on chemical propulsion. During my college years, I served as class assistants for compressible flow and finite element analysis for the aerospace department. I have had extensive experience helping college students with introductory physics ,calculus, or even upper level fluid mechanics and solid mechanic courses. On top of that, I also have experience tutoring ACT and SAT test. Other than English, I am fluent in Mandarin as well. My teaching environment tends to be more relaxed but fast-paced. And I emphasize in understanding why students are struggling with a course and a proper feedback loop between the tutor and the student. Due to my experience as a teaching assistant, I've also had experience modifying and creating syllabus for classes and discussion sessions to ensure students understand the class content. The reason I continue being a tutor is because I take pride in seeing the ripple effect of my students' success in higher level and future courses because they fully understand the concept in their introductory and previous courses that I helped with.
