Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of University of Texas at Arlington. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biological Chemistry with a minor in Biology.
When I was an undergraduate, I found myself doing well in math classes and biochemistry. I also helped classmates that had trouble with those subjects. So, I decided to help more others by working as a Supplemental Instruction Leader. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all philosophy. I think every student needs to find a learning style that works best for them. With this philosophy in mind, I taught my students to figure out their strengths and weaknesses when it came to their own learning and abilities. Once they find out their learning styles, students know how to approach the materials in a way that works best for them. These approaches helped students learn better in multiple subjects. I enjoy Bullet Journaling and camping.
