After contstantly struggling in school, I found that my poor performance was not because I did not try hard enough, but because I did not have the connection.
"Why does this matter?"
I found myself constantly asking this question, however once I understood, I began excelling in every in skill that was taught in school. I began doing deep dives into subject matter to understand.
This is exactly what I aim to achieve with my tutoring approach.
I want to give others the gift of understanding the connection between subject matter and the real world by providing them practical examples in their learning paired with practice to reinforce this connection. Once this is done, I believe the grades will follow.
I tutor in most subjects but prefer to tutor in areas I am interested in such as health, biology, writing and science.

Academically, I have a particular interest in sublects like Biology and Psychology. As for hobbies, I like to play basketball and travel. Whenever I do get the chance, I like to volunteer at different STEM and healthcare related clubs.
