Certified Tutor

I am a sophomore undergraduate bioengineering major and member of the Integrated Life Sciences program at the University of Maryland Honors College. My focus is on biotechnology and therapeutics engineering and my primary research interest is drug delivery. I tutor in a broad range of subjects, but my favorites are calculus and biology. As a tutor, my philosophy is to help students help themselves, meaning that I focus on critical thinking and developing an understanding of the methods for solving a problem. I generally default to having students work through the problem with guidance, but I am happy to change my style to what works best for the student. Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, finding new restaurants and cafes, and reading fantasy and sci-fi series.
