Hi there! My name is Alex and I use both she/her and they/them pronouns (meaning I'm comfortable with both). I'm the resident English nerd of my house, when I was younger I organized my bedroom library alphabetically. I went to high school in the International Baccalaureate program and got a 5 on my AP English exam. This translated into college where I've recently received my diploma for English Literature. I am currently in the process of writing my own book, but I carry my love for research and academic even as I've exited those programs.
I also have ADHD Combined Type-- meaning I understand. I understand how hard school is and how difficult it is to motivate yourself to do best in the classroom. I've fought against the procrastination monster myself (and I've lost a handful of times). Essays for people with any kind of neurodivergency can be an absolute monster-- I know coping mechanisms and ways to make it easier.

I have two cats, Andy (m5) and Silver (f15). I love Dungeons and Dragons and also anime, Demon Slayer is my favorite anime of all time right now. I also paint with a focus on animal paintings. My favorite fantasy book is "The Priory of the Orange Tree" and I'm currently reading "Daughters of the Deep" I love Dinosaurs, I've painted many and plan to draw and paint many more. I also love the ocean and anything to do with underwater discovery.
