I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Adelphi University alumna with over 15 years of experience in clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, and behavioral health services. I hold an Advanced CASAC (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) certification and am currently pursuing my LCSW.
My background includes working in OMH- and OASAS-certified programs, mentoring MSW students in the field, and preparing candidates for the LMSW exam. I specialize in breaking down complex social work concepts (like values and ethics, clinical interventions, and human development) into digestible, relatable content that helps learners feel empowered and confident.
My tutoring style is warm, structured, and highly personalized. I focus on building strong foundations in both content and test-taking strategy. Outside of tutoring and social work, I enjoy creative writing, reading uplifting or thought-provoking literature, listening to music across genres (especially reggae, post-punk, and soul), as well as exploring photography. I also find joy in spending time with my family, connecting with my faith, and participating in community service. When I need to reset, I love stepping outside with my dog (Peaches) or soaking in quiet moments of reflection and appreciation.
