I recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science. I have always been interested in the sciences, particularly in the healthcare field, and I will be attending medical school next year. I have tutored students of various ages throughout high school, and have always loved working toward academic milestones with students. I like to make learning fun- my students can always look forward to activities and other creative strategies to master a subject.
Outside of academia, I love to be active and to enjoy the outdoors, I played soccer throughout my childhood and then continued on Notre Dame’s women’s club team. I have a strong commitment to service and community engagement both in my career and in my personal life. I find that students excel when they balance their studies with an active personal life, and I encourage them to keep up with their interests on top of their homework!

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that students excel when they are confident and lead healthy lifestyles. My goal is to instill that sense of confidence and balance in my students.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I like to ensure that I am on the same page regarding the expectations of my student and his/her parents, if they would like to be involved. I spend part of the first session discussing these expectations, the student's goals, and strategies for how we can begin to move forward as a team.
