Margaret: Victoria tutor
Certified Tutor
As a physics major at Barnard College of Columbia University, I've worked as a tutor since I was in high school, helping peers and younger students with physics and math. I love helping people understand my favorite subjects and can't wait to do more work as a tutor.
Outside of tutoring, I spend a lot of time exploring New York, reading, and doing community service.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In a first session, I think it's important to get to know the student and understand their learning style. It's also important to get a good idea of what they are looking for out of tutoring, and if they have any specific way they'd like to go about it.
