I am a proud alumni of the Florida State University having received my B.S. in Criminology and a Master of Arts in German. While attending FSU, I was selected to be on the Marching Chiefs Big 8 Drumline snareline, and later on becoming the Drill Instructor for the Big 8 Drumline in 2012 and 2013.
After completing my bachelors degree, I participated in a study abroad program called the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange (Parlamentarisches-Patenschafts-Programm) from July 2014-July 2015 and gained German fluency through a two-month intensive German language phase, a five-month university phase and a six-month legal internship phase.
During my graduate studies, I was awarded a teaching apprenticeship requiring me to instruct undergraduate German language classes four days a week, as well as participate in social events created by the FSU German Department. I also assisted a study abroad program for 10 students in Dresden, Germany during summer 2019.
I enjoy gaining new experiences and want to share them with those having the same interests. I see teaching and tutoring as a new way to earn those experiences. I love to learn, and if I can help others learn something I am just as passionate about, I am more than thrilled.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would begin by building rapport with a student, learning about them, and giving them the same courtesy in learning about me in return.
