What is your teaching philosophy?
People learn in different ways, so I like to adjust to their learning style instead.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Formally introduce myself, and ask what I can help him/her with.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By helping him/her understand the concept behind every question.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
By helping him/her stick to a study schedule and making the study sessions interesting.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I would try a different approach of looking at the question itself.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
By helping them read and enunciate difficult words.
