I graduated from the University of Iowa with bachelor of science degree in elementary education. I have a reading and language arts specialization. I have tutored children in many different areas for over ten years. I have also substitute taught elementary students for over ten years. I have also taught English to Chinese Children for around a year. I believe in individualizing tutoring sessions to meet the students needs. I like to build on student's strengths and personalize the material. I believe it is important connect to the students and to adapt to their individualized learning styles. I like to tutor elementary children in a wide range of topics. My favorite topic to tutor is reading.
