Believe it or not, test prep can be fun - and most importantly fulfilling! I've scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and I've worked with students from all ages from elementary to high school level on test prep (SAT/ACT/SSAT/ISEE). Throughout my academic career, I've found that learning is most fun, and most effective when the student and teacher are a team unit, working together towards a tangible goal. I always make it my mission to engage with students and really understand each and every student's particular learning style. Also, as a recent graduate from Johns Hopkins, I'm closer in age, thinking style, and just all around more in tune and aware of what it takes for students to succeed in test prep.

I just came back from a year long sojourn in Tokyo, exploring my Japanese heritage, but during my time there I also spent the majority of my time teaching students test prep skills and reading comprehension. Some of my best experiences have been working with and connecting with my students to not only reach their academic goals, but also to mentor students in their academic careers. I hope to make those same connections with future students, as they journey ahead through an exciting time in their lives.
