While an MD background as well as an MS in information Systems might be a rare combination, it is my reality and one that has allowed me to practice medicine, found practices, implement Electronic Health Records (modifying code and templates when necessary, to fit practice preferences) and continue upgrading coding
skills. I am certified in Data Science both Python and (i.e. SQL, Maria, Perl, C++, PHP, CSS, Github and JavaScript). In addition to being a cancer survivor, I am a Gulf War era veteran who served as an officer in the Air Force, from 1982-1991 (leaving military service to attend medical school). For me, few things are more fulfilling than having an enduring positive effect on someone's life.

My tutoring style is relaxed yet thoroughly in-depth. As a result of military and medical training, I am a strong believer in the "Socratic" or dialectic method. In short, excelling in a course includes the ability to converse and express oneself in the language of that subject. I look forward to the opportunity to share in you or your family member's learning experience. I am well versed in many areas and only ask reasonable notice to ensure adequate preparation prior to a session.
