James: Warwick tutor
Certified Tutor
As a current Junior at Saint Louis University, I am pursuing a B.A. in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. My coursework has prepared me to tutor many hard science subjects including Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Algebra 1 and 2, and test prep subjects for AP, ACT, and SAT mathematics and science sections. Personally, I enjoy tutoring Chemistry and Mathematics the most because of complexities involved with these subjects.
I believe that tutoring is about the individual. Respecting an individuals learning style is essential in conquering dense subject material because everyone approaches learning in their own way.
Outside of Academia, I am involved in a number of organizations on campus - Rotaract and TEDx SLU - and have had the pleasure of working for the PASE Cadaver lab as well as Teach for America. Additionally, I participate in two research endeavors including a public health study at SLU's Emergency Hospital and a micro-fluidic's lab within the Department of Chemistry. I've been attempting to learn how to play the piano(hopelessly) and enjoy a good book.
