Hello! I am a twenty-two-year-old graduate of New York University, having studied International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies! I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received numerous academic honors throughout my time at NYU. In addition, I currently manage a city council campaign in Virginia in my free time (I love politics). I am ecstatic about teaching English (because, let's be real, who isn't?), college prep, standardized testing, and Arabic, and have many hobbies. I have taught English professionally and recreationally for a few years now; one year of which I tutored for a nonprofit in the Bronx, thereafter the next year I worked for a Beijing-based company teaching English to variously aged Chinese children, and finally, I've taught through Varsity Tutors itself. Moreover, I am fascinated with the Arabic language and helping others learn the difficult ropes of Arabic. I have been learning Modern Standard Arabic for eight years and am near fluency. I have studied abroad in Morocco and visited five Middle Eastern countries thus far. I LOVE doing Taekwondo and have a third-degree black belt therein and officiate across the United States; I love exploring and mountaineering and skiing in Montana (where I am from); I enjoy learning new languages greatly (I am learning Arabic, Hebrew, and German currently); and finally (but certainly not least) I relish meeting new people, helping them in any way I can, and discovering interesting things about their lives. I hope to see you soon, help you achieve any goal you academically desire (which anyone can do), and of course, find out more about yourself! I wish you all the best, Benjamin
