Certified Tutor

Born and raised in New York City, I was educated at Cardinal Hayes High School, and then at Lehman College on a full scholarship. I am a native New Yorker who is poised to help all who seek my expertise.

I hold a B.A. in Biology/Science Education and an M.A. in Biology from Lehman College and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction: Science from Concordia UniversityPortland. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D in Educational Leadership: Higher Education at Concordia University-Portland. I also enjoy playing the piano, biking, swimming, and traveling along with my passion for teaching science and math.

With many years of teaching and tutoring science, technology, and math, I am able to help all students reach college and career readiness.

As a native Spanish speaker, I have first-hand experience reading, writing, and conversing in Spanish. I am able to help all learners improve their Spanish skills to reach and realize their goal.

As a doctoral student, my writing skills have helped and allowed me to become a successful candidate for the final phases of the program. My virtual residency required that I maintain open communication that was critiqued and refined on a daily basis.
