I am a college professor with a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology. I have taught medical students over 25 years. I have taught middle school and high school students in STEM sciences as part of national initiatives. I have had high school students trained in my research laboratory in experimental science. My goal is to teach students of all ages and come up with strategies that stimulate curiosity for learning, knowledge retention, and test taking skills. Repetition, reinforcement, active student participation through stress free tests, and use of powerful tools in technology are my current approaches. Yes, I am always learning, methods on effective teaching from weak and strong students along the way.
