My name is Tonianne, and I am a tutor with 15 years experience and who has helped students get into top colleges and graduate school programs. I have had the pleasure of working with students of a wide range of ages elementary to graduate level and have enjoyed watching them grow as students.

Currently I am an adjunct lecturer of writing and a tutor for a wide range of subjects including AP English Language, AP Art History, AP English Literature, ACT Verbal, and SAT Verbal.

My strong background in writing and English literature and grammar has allowed me to help my students to become better scholars. I teach them the proper way to read and study. I focus on skills that will not only help them in the subjects they need help in but also skills that will help them in the future.

I have helped a number of students realize their potential, and I look forward to helping more achieve their goals.

Hobbies

I love to read– anything from science fiction and fantasy to experimental fiction to nonfiction. I also love going on historical tours. In the spring through the fall, I love going on hikes. And I'm a fitness fanatic; I'm always at a barre class or on a run.
