Certified Tutor

I graduated from UT Austin with a Bacherlor of Arts in Linguistics, The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Master's of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a PhD from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching. Additionally, I studied Spanish at the University of Guadalajara and studied Italian in Rome, Italy. I am a certified teacher (EC-6th grade, generalist) and have worked as a teacher in a local school district, a Master Teacher for a private school and worked as a Professional Learning Specialist for two years. In this role, I taught teachers how to teach their students more effectively. Currently, I teach undergraduate students in the teacher certification program at UTSA. As a generalist, I am qualified to tutor in a broad range of subjects. Also, as I have had many experiences teaching both children and adults, I am willing and trained to work with a variety of age groups. I enjoy teaching, and I believe in an individualized and relevant approach to teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, learning new information, spending time outside and with my family.
