In high school, I was a member of the Shortridge High School Daily Echo newspaper. It was one of the few daily high school newspapers in the country. For three years, I was an editorial columnist on health and wealth topics for the Indianapolis Star. Due to the compelling topics and timeliness of issues, I appeared on local NBC and FOX 59 news segments. I am an author of two Personal Finance books Women and Money and The Value Book and a historical book, Indiana Avenue Life and Musical Journey from 1915 to 2015.

I have a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Stanford University and an MBA degree in Finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. I have completed 25 hours towards a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Writing from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

I have worked at Fortune 100 and major pharmaceutical companies such as Eli Lilly and Covidien.

Tutoring Experience
Since high school, I have tutored and mentored students from elementary to graduate school. I enjoy working with young people and helping them achieve a thirst and enthusiasm for learning! The best part of tutoring is to witness "the light bulb turning on" as students improve their skills and confidence.

My areas of expertise are Writing, Business Writing, College English, English Grammar and Syntax, Essay Editing, Composition, Middle School Reading, Middle School Reading Comprehension, Middle School Writing, Finance, Personal Finance and Technical Writing.
