I am a skilled, adaptable and experienced communication and workforce professional who is also articulate and self-motivate to provide career guidance and workforce development. My career pathway has taken me through several industries, I started in journalism where I worked as a freelance features writer for a leading daily newspaper for five years then I joined the banking industry, providing customer service and marketing products and services. I later transitioned to nonprofit, technology, business and most recently education industry where I worked for two years as a substitute teacher for K-12. My corporate roles have been varied but most have centered on customer interfacing, marketing of products and services, business development, operations and communication strategies. I hold a bachelor's in communication from the University of New Mexico so, "Go Lobos"

My professional interests include social justice issues, human rights and community access. I have volunteered for women's advocacy projects and adult literacy.

I enjoy traveling and learn about different places and cultures, I enjoy going to museums, and I love photography, writing and watching documentaries on different genres.
