I have lived in Chicago since the spring of 2017 after graduating from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering and a Bachelors of Arts in Dance/Theatre Performance. During my senior year I got a contract to be apart of a professional dance company after graduation, thus being the reason why I relocated to Chicago. On the side, also teach dance to children from elementary to high school and occasionally adults.

I am proficient in the subjects and areas I have studied. The reason I think I can be an effective teacher is that I had to work hard to understand and execute materials both in engineering and dance. Nothing was easy for me so I had to find more effective ways to study and understand the subject matter. I will be able to understand a student's problem figuring out their material and give them the tools to understand with their own reasoning. Hard work shows a lot about a student than what is easy for them.
