Certified Tutor

I am a Texas certified teacher in Math and Chinese. I received my training through the UTeach program at the University of Texas at Austin where I also received a BS in psychology and minor in math.

I am currently a high school teacher teaching Geometry and Chinese 1. During my training, I have taught in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, all in math courses.

My favorite part about being a teacher is building relationship with my students. I have strong rapports with my students which creates a safe learning environment that allows them to ask questions, to try without feeling discouraged. My strong rapport with my students also allow me to tailor the learning experience to my students' needs, altering my instruction to match their learning style and use what they care about to relate the material to their lives.
