Just another friendly French, English, History, and writing tutor. I'm here to help you build confidence in your skills *and* get those grades up!

I work well with all students, especially in making sure that they're comfortable asking me questions, and I'm also a huge fan of making the lessons productive *and* fun! Tutoring young intellects is my pride and joy!

French: I am particularly adept at making students feel comfortable in engaging with foreign linguistic concepts. It's easy for students to get discouraged, trust me, I know from personal experience, which is why I am so keen on morale as much as I am on the actual academic rigor of tutoring French.

English: English has been and always will be my passion and it truly shows when I'm tutoring. I love getting students excited about English assignments and learning and so far, I've been quite successful in that endeavor! I work well with all students, including those not particularly enthused by the subject.

History: I am quite the history buff and I truly believe that if a student has the right tutor who knows how to bring history to life, anyone can and will enjoy it as much as they are learning from it. This is definitely one of my favorite subjects to tutor in.

Writing: Writing is also a passion of mine. In fact, I love it so much I honed in on it in college. Since high school, I've been a writing center coach, and I truly enjoy helping students realize their potential and capacity to write really well in styles that suit their personalities. I'm also adept at assisting students with following stylistic guidelines, meaning APA or MLA format, for example. Writing is such a pleasure and joy to tutor, so I'm sure, regardless of my students' enthusiasm, I will be their cheerleader and make sure they're having fun while we learn together!

Miscellaneous: I've occasionally dabbled in tutoring out of left field topics which are not necessarily my forte however, I'm more than capable and happy to do so for my students who really take to me. Such subjects range from creating financial statements on excel to basic theology coursework. In other words, I love tutoring, and chances are, I can tutor you, regardless of the subject, and if I don't feel qualified to tutor in it, I can direct you to other Varsity Tutors who can.
