Hi there! My name is Dagny, and I can't wait to help you achieve your academic goals. In May of 2020, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Willamette University, where I attained degrees in Mathematics and Economics.
During my time at Willamette University, I worked at the university's Writing Center, where I worked individually with students on a wide variety of written assignments, ranging from grant proposals to senior theses. I also was a tutor with Willamette University's Academic Support Center. I worked individually with several students over the course of each semester, helping them develop study habits, identify their challenges, and meet their academic goals.
While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Writing, Economics, and Mathematics. I am a firm proponent of a growth mindset in education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for developing a sustained desire for knowledge and mastery. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (especially Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, and Isaac Asimov), spending time with my cats, and learning to code.
