I am a former Media Specialist or school librarian, so I have a variety of interests and knowledge. As a librarian, many students would spend their study hall time with me and I had the opportunity to assist them with homework. I am best with literacy related subjects like reading and writing, but I also have helped students with social studies and lower math subjects. I worked in Pickerington, Ohio for 10 years and have worked for Franklin City Schools in Dayton for the past 10 years. I attended The Ohio State University where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree and went to Kent State for my master's degree in Instructional Technology. I am a certified and highly qualified teacher in the state of Ohio. I have taught all ages, my certification is for PreK - grade 12. I have worked at summer cub scout camps, I ran vacation bible schools for a few years at my church and started writing and book clubs at the schools where I have worked. I like to live for today with an eye toward the future without sweating the small stuff!
