Hi, I come from an art background.
I was born and raised in China, and studies in Australia, and then worked in the art and cultural field in China. And now I am based in NYC and I have been here for over 3 years.

I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Arts, specializing in Art History and Art Market. During my time in college, I taught Australian and Korean students Chinese, with a focus on conversational mandarin. I always taught language on a one-on-one basis. I believe it is best to understand the goal and purpose of the language learner so that I can customize my teaching method for the student.

I have been working in art for nearly 10 years, and I specialize in modern and contemporary art. I give talks on art-related topics, and I am always passionate about sharing and teaching art to people. I had also been a docent at New Museum before they stopped the program due to the pandemic.

I would love to help you, regardless of your age, to learn Chinese language and culture, or learn modern and contemporary art (can be taught in either Chinese or English).
