My formal education was completed at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. There, I majored in Women and Family Themes with a minor in Psychology. Since then, I have taught in a variety of educational settings. Currently, I homeschool my three children, ages 9 through 14. I also tutor English as a second language students through and online platform. On occasion, I substitute teach in the local public and private schools. I have taught nature immersion students to identify and ethically harvest wild medicinal plants and craft safe medicinal preparations.

Students take many different pathways to mastery. I believe in encouraging their strengths and building growth mindsets while supporting weak areas. Helping a student make connections, build skills and overcome challenges brings me great joy!
