Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Bethel College. I received my Bachelor of Science in International Health with a focus on Biology. Since graduation, I have worked in several different settings, but most recently I have spent several years teaching one-on-one ESL/EFL classes to children in other countries. I have completed ESL training and have received certifications in this area.
While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English and Science. In my experience helping students improve their written and oral English skills, I have always enjoyed seeing those "light bulb moments" when something finally clicks for a student, and they become so excited about it. I believe education is so important and can be a lot of fun. It enables us to continue to explore, ask questions, and move forward. I try to share that excitement and appreciation with all my students.
In my spare time, I enjoy baking, cooking, reading, wood burning, sewing, spending time outside, and going on adventures with my husband and our dog.
