Certified Tutor

I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Ohio for 28 years. I earned my undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The Ohio State University and my graduate degree from University of Cincinnati. I have a current state license, am ASHA certified, and am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS). I have experiencing working in a variety of settings, including school, acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing and home health settings. For the past 15 years I have been working in clinical education at the university level. My primary responsibilities include preparing students to be clinically competent SLPs through organized clinical rotations, simulation and related activities and coursework. I have taught college courses, undergraduate and graduate level, for many years. I teach currently between 6-8 courses per semester in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have extensive experience in teaching both face-to-face and online.
