How do you learn? Do you feel like you learn differently than most students? Well, we will be a perfect fit! For more than 20 years, I have worked with students and educators to help them discover how they learn best and build strong learning strategies.

You will want to work with me if you want more than just tutoring for a specific course. I will help you learn how to improve your learning skills as we work on a specific content area or skill.

My experience as a 6-12 teacher and as a college professor has prepared me to support you in several areas. I can help you with an English or ELA content area including reading and writing. I have 12 years of experience teaching high school literature. I also have extensive experience working with learning disabilities including dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, and language processing disorders.

I have a Bachelor's degree in English from Ohio State University, a Master's in Secondary English (6-12) from Kennesaw State University, and I have a Specialist of Education degree from Kennesaw State University in Instructional Technology.

I can help you use technology effectively and provide you with online resources to support learning.

I believe students who participate in sports and extracurricular activities get more out of their school experience than students who are not as engaged in their school community. I understand that students who have tight schedules may need a little help getting everything done.
