I am a graduate of Emory & Henry College, Emory, Va. Here I obtained my undergraduate degree in education ( K -12).
My grades and experience at this college helped me to be accepted at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. Here I received my Master's Degree in Education with emphasis in science.
I wrote a research thesis!

Hiking is my passion. I live in the beautiful Appalachian mountains. The Appalachian Trail is close. Also, fly fishing is great fun. My dad taught me the skills to fish with flies. Patience is one virtue needed. Finally, I love to read. I read several books each month.
