Certified Tutor

I am a senior at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, working towards my bachelor's in chemistry. I was a K-12 afterschool tutor throughout high school and have assisted students on everything from elementary reading to high school chemistry and SATs. In college, I also spent time at a girl's home providing homework help and was an on-campus Latin tutor.

Having had wonderful teachers in the past, I see tutoring as a way to pay forward the love for learning they gave me. I also enjoy the challenge of communicating concepts in an audience-specific manner, and from having created many study guides as a student am interested in how the organization of knowledge can facilitate learning.

My favorite subjects to teach are currently high school math, but I love chemistry and biology as well. In my spare time, I enjoy folding origami, doing jigsaw puzzles, and playing video games.
