Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Wake Forest University with a degree in Elementary Education. I also have a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from East Tennessee State university. I have worked as an elementary teacher for over 15 years. I have also had the opportunity to work with teachers as a Curriculum Specialist in elementary education. My passion is helping young students learn - and hopefully love the process of learning, so they will be eager to continue learning.
I want to help students reach their full potential with authentic experiences by motivating them, stimulate their thinking, and ultimately being a facilitator to help them reach their goals.
I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as their families to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.
