Every subject is like its own language, and every teacher is like the translator, who, not only makes untrodden land seem familiar but also equips the student with the tools and confidence to foster discovery on his or her own. All learning happens within the context of a relationship: this is my teaching philosophy. Lessons centered around teachable moments and the reasoning behind conceptual bases drive the manner in which I teach. Along with a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas, I bring more than two years of experience with one of the best tutoring companies in the DFW teaching subjects ranging from the upper-level sciences to upper-level maths as well as SAT, ACT, AP, and everything in between. During my time at the university, I gathered lab experience working on a bioplastic catalysis project that aimed to increase the efficiency of non-petroleum-based polymerization reactions. Outside of my academic life, I love to make Latin-influenced music with my brothers.

Undergraduate Degree: The University of Texas at Dallas - Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry
My time spent away from work or academics is mostly focused on self-improvement and the building of the modern Renaissance man. I take a deep interest in maintaining a fit body through weekly exercise as well as learning and applying nutrition. The arts are also one of my favorite hobbies as I enjoy learning about the history of art and what it can tell us about the human cultures that produced it. Going to art galleries, music productions, and theatre shows is where you can find me on any given weekend!
