I am a recent graduate of Wesleyan University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees: one in English, with a focus in creative writing, and one in Neuroscience and Behavior. During my time at Wesleyan, I joined the leadership board for the writing-intensive club Writing Circle, acted as a copy editor on the main campus newspaper The Argus, and became an editor on a separate literary magazine, among other activities. I also participated in a research lab that uses eye-tracking equipment to help improve literary efficiency in adults. During my time in the lab, I presented at international conferences and earned the title of co-author on a scientific manuscript. I have tutored many of my fellow classmates from high school to college, never earning below an A myself in these classes. While I've studied and tutored many subjects, I am especially passionate about cultivating a love for reading and writing in students of all ages. Sessions in essay planning, organization, and execution, for example, are often the most fun, as students' voices become clearer the more confident they are in their writing. In my spare time, I of course love to read and write. I also love dancing and playing with my cat, who is the center of my world.

My academic interests range all the way from lexicology to chemistry, hence the double major. Outside of school, however, I have always loved dancing– especially ballet and contemporary dance. I am a fiend for all kinds of tea, and you can find me on the weekends curled up with a good book and my cat on my lap.
