Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Trident Technical College and Western Governors University in Nursing. Since graduating with my ADN and, later, my MSN in Nursing Education I have worked in many facets in nursing. These include Medical Oncology and Hematology/BMT as a bedside nurse before moving into my current position in my healthcare organization as a Nursing Education Specialist for Ambulatory Care. My journey also incudes teaching patients and teaching didactic and clinical nursing courses for a local university. My passion for helping students started when I was in nursing school. My professors recognized a knack for tutoring in me before I had any idea that it was something I would enjoy. I spent a year and a half in nursing school tutoring my fellow students through for my nursing program. While my background is specific, I have tutored in most nursing courses. My passion is tutoring in healthcare and science. Some of my biggest joys have been helping students understand a topic they are struggling with and giving them the skills they need to succeed in the future. In my spare time you can find me hiking, planning my next trip, or doing photography.
