I have been a public school educator for 28 years. I have taught ages pre-k through third grade. I hold an Early Childhood certification in the state of Illinois. My classroom has always been a welcoming environment where diversity and differences are celebrated and cherished. I have always been an educator that strongly opposes the "one size fits all" method of teaching and if I have 18 students in my class then I have 18 ways to make sure that each child is thriving. That includes getting to know them personally and helping them be all they can be as individuals and learners. As a teacher, I make sure I meet THEIR needs and not my needs. Equal opportunity is an integral part of learning for each student. Each student is unique in their own way and I strive to create an open and inclusive learning environment where they can excel. I am a high energy fun educator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.
