I believe that everyone can learn, we sometimes just need to see things in a new way. I've been a teacher and special educator for over a decade. When working with students, I've found that confidence is often a key issue that keeps them from success. In addition to helping a child feel supported, I find it essential to teach the material in a way that students as individual learners can understand.

My state teaching certifications include all subjects for grades PK-6, English as a Second Language for grades PK-12, and Special Education, grades PK-12. I believe that reading and writing offer people the opportunity to go further in life. Through this, I've been passionate about helping others better this skill for the entirety of my career. I genuinely care that my students understand their material and gain the self-assurance and knowledge that they need to succeed.
