I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Certified Tutor

I am passionate about helping my students experience growth in academics and social-emotional wellness. I have experience with students who have specific learning disabilities, ADHD, ODD and emotional dysregulation.

I am 18 years into the profession and continue to learn and grow every day.

I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master's in Psychology, and have completed all coursework for a PsyD in Educational Leadership.

My passion subjects are reading, math and science and working with students who are ED, LD or experience ODD, ADHD, specific mood disorders and/or dysregulated emotions, supporting content and executive functioning.

I found a love for math as an adult when I learned the "why" behind the numbers. Once you learn the why, things begin to make sense and connections are made that last a lifetime.

Positive interactions with lots of fun are what I bring to the tutoring experience. You will not be bored and will look forward to each opportunity we have together.

Outside of tutoring I am an Instructional Coach, helping teachers grow in their profession, working with students to close gaps in learning and experience successes. I also love to paint and play the drums. I bring my artistic flare to the tutoring session so engagement remains at the forefront of learning.

I look forward to working with you and making your academic and social emotional goals come to light!
