My name is Lillie, and I am a young and energetic chemistry education student at Southern Illinois University. I have spent the last 4 years learning everything I can about chemistry, and the science of teaching. I have tutored for the university for 4 years, and been an inorganic chemistry TA for 2 years, helping students learn and execute laboratory skills. I believe in evidence based, and growth minded teaching, but above all am a student too. I understand the struggles and worries of students learning challanging subjects like math and science because i've been there too!

I love educating people, and enjoy working at harm reductuion or public education booths at events like music festivals, fairs, farmer's markets and so much more. I am additionally so passionate about education reform, and making school systems where every student of every ability can succeed in math and science, a field thjat historically has excluded women, people woith disabilities, and so many other groups.
