I retired from the public school system in 2012, and my Florida Educational Certificate has expired. Nevertheless, I have an intense love for math in addition to the desire to help those who truly desire to understand the "why" of algebra and geometry. I have held side tutoring jobs through the years since retiring. I am looking to connect on a deep level with students who desire to understand, not just perform rote computations. I am committed to "old fashioned" education, especially regarding the use of manipulatives and visual aids.
