I am passionate about helping students overcome challenges in their academic journeys, particularly in technical subjects where students often struggle. Having been a teaching assistant for courses such as Math Foundations for Electrical Engineering and Linear Systems at Carnegie Mellon University, I have had the opportunity to work closely with students, guiding them through complex concepts and helping them build confidence in their abilities. During this time, I also assisted in grading, creating lesson materials, and holding office hours to provide individualized support.

I received my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where my research focused on machine learning and optimization. Prior to that, I completed my B.Tech and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. My academic background equips me to tutor a variety of STEM subjects, including mathematics, electrical engineering, and computer science, but my favorite subject to tutor is mathematics. I love the way math serves as the foundation for many other disciplines and enjoy helping students see its practical applications in areas such as engineering and data science.

My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a deep understanding of fundamental principles. I believe in breaking down complex topics into manageable parts, encouraging critical thinking, and using practical examples to reinforce learning. I aim to make the learning process engaging and tailored to each student's pace and learning style.

Outside of academia, I enjoy staying updated with advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly through my work as an AI Scientist. In my free time, I also enjoy outdoor activities like traveling, hiking and following sports, which keep me balanced and inspired.
