Certified Tutor

I am a Junior in college studying Writing and Physics. This past summer, I worked as a teaching assistant for Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth program. For six weeks, I worked with elementary and middle school-aged students in a Writing and Imagination course and a Physics of Engineering course. I am the co-editor-in-chief of my university's literary art magazine and the president of the Creative Writing Club. I am passionate about creative and academic writing and editing. I primarily tutor writing, but I would happily discuss other subjects with you, such as math or science. I believe encouragement is the greatest tool for tutoring and teaching. Creating a safe space for students to ask questions and explore different techniques is key.
