I am a graduate of Ball State University, where I graduated with a B.A. in Creative Writing, and I am currently a graduate student continuing my studies in Creative Writing. I currently work in college admissions and help high school students determine what they are looking for in post-secondary education. As a writer, I primarily write creative nonfiction, poetry, and fiction (short stories). I am currently enjoying research in Earth and its mass extinctions; I am going on a research trip this year to go explore fossil pits! Outside of work and graduate school, I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, taking my dog on long walks (and the occasional swim), and sewing.
