Certified Tutor

I've recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Neuroscience. I'm currently applying to medical school and hope to pursue an MD degree. As an undergraduate, I worked as a teaching assistant and have also trained new employees in my research lab, so I have some experience with tutoring. I tutor primarily in the sciences since it is the field I have the most experience with, but I also do some math tutoring. My favorite subject to tutor is probably anything pertaining to the biological sciences (especially neuroscience). My tutoring style is relatively relaxed and student-driven. I believe building strong foundations proves to be the most beneficial in the long run, so I really like to make sure my students have a solid grasp of basic concepts and skills. Outside of academia, I like to watch movies, play the ukulele and some piano, breakdance, learn languages (Spanish and Japanese so far), make short videos, and watch movies.
